October: Finally Fall
It’s hard to believe I’m writing this newsletter when it seems like only yesterday I was reflecting on the exciting start to summer. What I love about Fall is that it’s the perfect mix of styles: some days you feel like rocking a slip tank and denim and others you just want to bundle up in a big scarf and mix up some textures with silk and leather. Regardless of the temperature, we have styles to complement it at the Boutique! And... don’t forget about holiday! It’s never too early to find that perfect outfit to celebrate any occasion. This is the last month for Holiday orders for all your December holiday parties!
Further, we are pleased to offer so many amazing jewelry and accessory brands right in store. Speaking of new arrivals…. We are super excited to announce that we are introducing Beautycounter to the Boutique! If you aren’t familiar with it--Gwenyth Paltrow’s Goop is obsessed--Beautycounter is all about clean beauty. From makeup to skin care, Beautycounter has something for everyone using only meticulously-screened products to ensure the utmost safety. We will be carrying a small selection of my Top Picks which will include: holiday gift packages, lip glosses and my favorite serums and oils. We cannot get enough!
Be sure to keep us in mind for your holiday needs. From jewelry to hand-painted scarves to makeup and bespoke clothing, Julia and I are happy to help make the holidays as happy and cozy as they should be!
On a more personal note, I’m thrilled to announce that I will be co-chairing Greenwich Hospital’s Under the Stars Benefit with Andrea Sinkin Jaffe and Jen Turano, two local amazing women who have a passion for making a difference in our community! The Under the Stars benefit raises funds to support women and children’s health at the Hospital. It will be taking place May 17th, 2019 at Riverside Yacht Club – join us for dinner and a live performance by an artist (stay tuned to find out who!). Lastly, I’d love to share these images from a styled shoot I did last month with photographer Hannah Cochran (who also designed my website!). This styled shoot was put together by a fabulous team of women including: Hannah Cochran Photography, Berry Branch Design Florals, My Sunday Afternoon Styling, Haley Joy Page Hair, Julia Briannaa of Maggie Agency Models, Najeema makeup and Design As You With Stationary. We featured the Gabrielle silk gown with silk chiffon cape!
