2019 So Far: Exciting Announcements!

2019 has brought lots of new and exciting things in the works here at the Boutique! Over the past few months we have been busy meeting some incredible new people and planning some fun events that are coming up.

On March 24th, we’ll be hosting our second annual Bridal Checklist Party! Last year’s party was such a fun collaboration and we are thrilled to be doing it again. This year we have jewelry designer Andrea Del Bello and artist Lydia Marie Elizabeth joining us along with Monogram Mary! I hope lots of you will be able to join us for a fun afternoon. Bring your friends who are brides, mother of the brides, bridesmaids or just come by for a glass of bubbly and shopping!

We are also excited to be hosting a few trunk over the few next months! Starting March 5-6, The Bruce Museum’s Bruce Contemporaries are hosting a trunk show at the Boutique for Jane Coco Cowles, artist and jewelry designer. I’m excited to introduce Jane’s beautiful work and unique jewelry designs! 15% of all trunk show purchases and 10% of everything else will be donated to the Bruce Contemporaries. My favorite are her caviar earrings…how clever!

On March 12-14 and April 3-5, Yuko Wantanabe, founder of YUKO DECO NEW YORK, will be popping up here! Yuko and I met at Serendipity’s Fashion’s Night Out and I was captured by her beautiful display of accessories. Yuko is based out of Rye and hosts two private boutique shows a year, showing her display of finely curated accessories – all the perfect mix of fun but timeless pieces. Her scarves trimmed in feathers and appliqued lace are some of my favorites. We feel so lucky to be able to be her first Greenwich Pop Up!

Last, but certainly not least...if you’ve been on Instagram lately you’ve probably read that I’m expecting! Baby Biglin is due July 1, 2019 and Owen and I could not be more excited. I snuck away for an early baby-moon mid-February and it was the perfect little break before our busy season begins! Many of you have been asking what my plan is and right now there isn’t too much of a change! Julia, whom many of you have met will still be in the shop and we will still be proceeding with production as usual.
We also have a lovely support team of amazing interns and our in-house seamstresses will be here too! All made-to-measure and custom-from-scratch projects will either need to happen before or after June-July. I have been so fortunate to be surrounded by many mom-trepeneurs who have inspired me to believe that we can make it work! And of course, I wouldn’t know what I would do without my extremely dedicated and talented team, who have been so supportive during this busy time. If there is anything you have questions about, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
